Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and Google account information used for authentication. When you purchase a domain or subscribe to a plan, we collect billing information processed securely through our payment provider (Polar).
We also collect domain names you register or connect, email forwarding addresses you configure, and basic usage data to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:
  • Provide and maintain the DomainMail service
  • Register domains and configure email forwarding on your behalf
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related notifications
  • Respond to support requests

3. Email Privacy

DomainMail never stores, reads, or has access to the content of your emails. We only configure email forwarding rules and SMTP relay settings. Your messages travel directly between senders and your inbox through industry-standard providers (Amazon SES for inbound forwarding and outbound relay). We are the bridge, not the destination.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party providers to deliver our service:
  • Amazon SES — email routing, forwarding, and outbound relay
  • Namecheap — domain registration and DNS management
  • Polar — payment processing (USD)
  • Google — authentication (OAuth)
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum information required for each service to function.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and restricted access to production systems. Payment information is handled entirely by our payment processors and is never stored on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your data in a portable format

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Continued use of DomainMail after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
